MITx MicroMasters® Program Pathway to the MBA Finance and Accounting Degree and MSc Development Economics Degree at Accra Metropolitan University (Ghana) is designed for students who have who complete both the MITx MicroMasters Program and other courses from Accra Metropolitan University,

This degree pathway offers an accelerated Master’s program at Accra Metropolitan University. The two components are to be taken concurrently.

Students graduate with both a Micro master’s and an MBA or MSc in the respective field of study.

both the MITx MicroMasters Program in Data, Economics, and Development Policy and the 7 other courses from Accra Metropolitan University, This degree pathway offers an accelerated Master’s program at Accra Metropolitan University. The two components are to be taken concurrently.

Students graduate with both a Micro master’s in data, Economics, and Development Policy from MIT-US and an MBA
in Finance and Accounting from Accra Metropolitan University and Qualify for exemption to the final stage of chartered accountant credentials from Institute of Chartered Accountants Ghana
and a good foundation for PhD.

Designed for students who’ve completed the MITx MicroMasters Program in Data, Economics, and Development Policy, this degree pathway offers an accelerated Master’s program at Accra Metropolitan University.

Admissions and Getting Started

Open Enrollment

The Accra Met Admissions open enrollment policy recognizes the philosophy of making university education open to all, irrespective of age, qualification, or experience, except for the demonstration of intellectual ability. The concept seeks to provide opportunities for workers, working mothers, those bringing up a family or those that do not want to give up their social life, and people who otherwise do not have access to university education or those that qualify to enter directly but want to have flexibility in their studies to do so.

The MITx MicroMasters credential in Data, Economics, and Development Policy must be earned prior to enrolling in any degree-applicable courses. Further, the credential cannot be more than three years old at the time of application. Credit is only granted for the entire MicroMasters credential; master’s credit will not be awarded for individual courses.
