Admission Requirements:

  • WASSCE with credits in English, Mathematics, Integrated Science, and three electives (General Arts, Science, or Business-related subjects) with aggregate 20 or better
  • GCE Advanced Level with at least five O’ Level credits including English and Mathematics, plus three A’ Level passes or equivalent
  • WAEC General Business Certificate Examination (GBCE)
  • American High School Grade 12 with GPA of at least 3.0
  • WAEC General Certificate of Education (GCE) Advanced Level
  • Mature applicants aged 25 years and above with at least five O’ Level credits including English and Mathematics

Additional Requirement for International Students

International applicants may be admitted based on qualifications equivalent to those outlined above. Equivalence shall be determined by the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) and verified by the University.

Applicants from non-English speaking countries must provide evidence of English language proficiency such as TOEFL or IELTS.

  • Payment of the prescribed application fee
  • Submission of certified academic certificates and transcripts
  • Two recommendation letters
  • Personal statement outlining motivation

Details of the Curriculum

This is a normative 4-year Programme taken over 8 semesters. It consists of core courses, prescriptive mandatory courses, research component, competency-based learning, practical-based learning and problem solving components incorporated into specific courses. General skills are also assessed through the interim and final assessments.
